My Story
I started Kane Tax & Accounting because I was frustrated with how most CPAs operate. They only care about your taxes in April, they charge by the hour (so there's no incentive to be efficient), and they use jargon that makes you feel dumb for asking questions.
I saw too many small business owners - people working their tails off, building real businesses - getting terrible advice or, worse, no advice at all. They'd get hit with surprise tax bills, miss out on deductions, or make decisions without understanding the financial implications. That's not how it should work.
Here's what I believe: Small business owners deserve a CPA who's proactive, transparent, and actually cares. Someone who thinks about your taxes year-round, not just in April. Someone who explains things in plain English instead of hiding behind accounting speak. Someone who charges a fixed monthly fee so you can budget and never worry about surprise bills.

From Grace: I've always had a knack for organization and a genuine curiosity about the accounting world, which led me to join Kane Tax & Accounting. Working alongside Collin has been an incredible opportunity to learn the ins and outs of tax and accounting while helping our clients navigate their financial needs with confidence. My husband's career keeps us on the move, and I love the adventure of exploring new communities. When I'm not at the office, you'll find me spending time with our dog and discovering what each new place has to offer.
